When a house has been created with love, one cannot help but feel it all around. This is exactly the case with Dove, a house that was completed gradually over time with ample care and affection. While it certainly deviates from the classic example of an island home, in almost all aspects, its distinctive features and characteristics render it unique and authentic. Though situated a five-minute drive from the sea, the view to be enjoyed is that of the untamed natural landscape of Andros. Its English country house-style aesthetics, handmade, antique furniture, and impressive wall art create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Furthermore, its location in the midst of a fragrant citrus tree garden guarantees serenity and deep rest, broken only from the sounds of nature. The main house features three ensuite double bedrooms and two more are housed in the property’s respective guest houses. And to top up the authenticity factor, a team of individuals who love and work for the house is at your service. Among them, you will meet an older local that makes a traditional raki so fine and pure that it can qualify as one of nature’s prime medicine.
