The jewel in the crown that is Nymfaio village, Wonderland constitutes the ultimate five bedroom getaway A carefully renovated estate, whose architectural integrity is protected as an example of cultural inheritance, Wonderland is irresistible to every purist. Climb the stone stairs to the upper level and enter a traditional hall, flanked by the bedroom doors, that leads to the heart of the house: the spacious kitchen and splendid dining room. Take a seat at the antique mahogany table to savour the treats of the local cuisine and then head to the art deco furnished entertainment area on the first floor to lounge around the fireplace in a room filled with natural light. The high ceilings and the wood elements of the construction create a spacious but warm atmosphere, which is complemented by the selected pieces of furniture dating back to the 1920s and the preservation of the original floor plans of the house. Since it belongs to one of Greece’s most celebrated wine producers, the villa’s cellar hosts a selection of the best Greek varieties. Another one of the many highlights of Wonderland, the Blue Room, is a dream of rest and relaxation, the perfect environment in which to unwind, dream and be woken by the pure light of morning coming through the tall windows. On sunny days, go down to the courtyard to enjoy your morning coffee, while the long-standing stone woodshed in the background awaits always stacked with logs for the evening’s fire.
